Husqvarnas Technical Carpenter-Style Trousers are for commercial forestry work and intensive chainsaw use. Certified to protect against chain speeds of 20m/s across the front and left side of the leg. Available in five sizes to ensure a perfect fit.
Husqvarna’s outstanding range of Technical Protective Clothing is designed to meet all of the needs of the professional forester or arborist. These Technical Carpenter-Style Trousers, for example, are lightweight but durable, comfortable yet practical, and ideal for all commercial forestry work and prolonged periods of intensive chainsaw use.
To a large extent this is brilliant practicality is attributable to the special four-way stretch material from which they are made. Designed to offer complete freedom of movement and a tight fit which prevents accidents caused by loose fabric catching on branches or in machinery, these high quality trousers also feature reinforced Aramid and Cordura panels on vulnerable areas for effective protection against chain speeds of up to 20m/s across the front and partially to the left side of the leg. This complies with the EN381-5 industry standard and makes these trousers perfect for heavy duty cutting work, while reflective logos and stripes at the back of the legs offer increased visibility in dim and dark conditions.
To help further ensure mobility when working on uneven ground Husqvarna’s Technical Carpenter-Style Trousers also feature pre-bent knees, with handy ventilation zippers on the legs allowing you to stay cool in hot weather. For added convenience these trousers also feature a bib which keeps the rest of your clothes clean and easily adjustable braces, while the inclusion of a dizzying array of storage pockets (two front pockets, one back pocket, one on the left leg, a ruler pocket that has to be split open before use, and two additional pockets on the bib) means that you will always have somewhere to stow useful bits of kit (or interestingly shaped leaves, acorns and stones, if a whimsical mood should strike at any point during the working day). Furthermore, with five sizes available (ranging from 30”-46”), it is easy to find a perfect fit.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
