Made from a lightweight, flexible material with Aramid and Cordura reinforcement on vulnerable sections for added durability, Husqvarnas Technical Waist-Height Trousers are perfect for anyone faced with long days of challenging commercial cutting work.
As a general rule it’s best to wear some kind of leg-covering attire to work whatever your job might be (with a few notable exceptions), but if you are working with a chainsaw then the need for a decent pair of trousers is even more pressing. Part of Husqvarna’s exceptional range of high quality protective gear designed for forestry professionals, these Technical Waist-Height Trousers manage to combine exceptional durability with outstanding comfort and mobility, making them perfect for anyone faced with long days of challenging cutting work.
Made from a lightweight, flexible material with Aramid and Cordura reinforcement on vulnerable sections for added durability, these hardwearing trousers are certified to offer Type C, Class 1 protection in compliance with the EN381-5 standard. This means that they are effective against chain speeds of up to 20m/s across the entire leg, while a large reflective ‘Husqvarna’ logo and reflective strips at the back improve visibility for added safety when working in low light conditions. The clever four-way stretch material used in their manufacture, meanwhile, ensures outstanding flexibility along with a tight fit which prevents loose fabric from catching. Along with the pre-bent knees, this ensures complete freedom of movement and makes even the most challenging cutting work significantly safer.
Comfort and convenience are equally part of the design of Husqvarna’s Technical Waist-Height Trousers, with a wide elasticated waistband and an extended back ensuring a great fit and year-round protection against the elements. Furthermore, the inclusion of a pleasingly large number of pockets (including two at the front, two at the back, one on the left leg and a dedicated ruler pocket) means that you will always have enough space for all of the essential items required when working out in the woods (and probably a little extra space left over for less essential items). With five sizes available to help meet your specific requirements (ranging from 30”-46”), Husqvarna’s Technical Waist-Height Trousers therefore have something to offer for any hardworking professional chainsaw operator.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
