For the toughest, most important jobs you need the toughest, highest performing machinery, and Steelfort’s LawnMaster 660 Sports Twin Drive Reel certainly meets those criteria. Designed for maintaining the surface of the fine turf found in various sport venues, such as cricket pitches, tennis courts and bowling greens, the design and build of the LawnMaster 660 Sports draws upon all of Steelfort’s years of engineering experience to create a machine capable of achieving fantastic results on even the largest lawns and other fine grassed areas.
With a cutting width of 66cm and a precision engineered ten-blade cutting cylinder, the LawnMaster 660 Sports can make light work of mowing even the largest lawns, parks and sporting pitches, while simultaneously guaranteeing a brilliant finish. This is thanks to the way in which cylinder mowers cut grass; rather than hacking at grass horizontally with a single blade, cylinder mowers use a cutting cylinder to cut grass against a single static blade with a scissor-like action, producing a cleaner cut and promoting healthy lawn growth. To ensure as fine a cut as possible, the LawnMaster 660 Sports even boasts a slimmed-down “shaver blade” in place of the traditional static cutting blade, offering even greater precision. This, along with the front and rear rollers and a turf rake designed to tease horizontal grass vertical, ensures that there are few mowers available today capable of competing with the LawnMaster 660 Sports in terms of the results achieved.
At the core of the LawnMaster 660 Sports is an efficient 118cc Honda 4.0hp GX120 OHV petrol engine, which powers both the cutting cylinder and the rear roller. This means that the split rear roller, as well as producing a classic stripe effect as you mow, drives the machine forward, taking much of the sweat and toil out of maintaining a great surface on even the largest areas of fine turf. Moreover, thanks to the LawnMaster’s twin drive system, the rear roller propulsion can be disengaged whenever greater manual control and precision is required, providing versatility to match the performance offered by this deeply impressive machine.
Also featuring variable cutting height adjustment (4mm-30mm), a durable three millimetre steel chassis, and a high capacity 55 litre metal grass collector, the LawnMaster 660 Sports is therefore a premium machine designed for when only the best will do.
