The Efco LR55VBX can collect, mulch, or simply discharge grass clippings, depending upon the prevailing conditions or your personal choice. Large rear-drive wheels will keep you moving when the going gets tough.

Product Description

The Efco LR55VBX petrol lawnmower is a new style of machine that has become increasingly popular over recent years. The ‘all-in-one’ lawnmower has many benefits to property owners with a garden that has several different types of grass and terrain, capable of maintaining formal lawn to rougher grass areas such as orchards and light pastures. A powerful 190cc Briggs and Stratton 625 Series petrol engine drives the rear wheels and provides power to the 53cm cutting blade.

A variable speed control allows you to cut your grass at speeds between 1.5m/ph to 3m/ph, very useful when you have to navigate detailed areas of your garden containing trees and ornaments whilst an ergonomic central height of cut lever (6 increments: 25mm – 82mm) means that you can adjust to different grass types with ease. The large rear drive-wheels enable rough terrain to be accommodated but also provide greater manoeuvrability when turning in tight spots and a soft rubber grip on the handlebars ensures daylong comfort. A plastic front bumper provides protection for the steel deck from bumps and knocks and with a huge 80-litre fabric grass collection bag at your disposal, downtime for emptying stops is kept to a minimum.

The adaptability of this mower means that you can not only collect or mulch the grass clippings (mulch plug included) but also use the side-discharge aperture to cut long, heavy grass, clearing the blade of cut grass as quickly as possible to avoid stalling. If the grass is not too long you can simply remove the grass collector if you prefer. Weight 40kg.

About Efco
Giacomo Ferretti set the foundations of the Efco brand on the road to success back in 1978, spotting an opportunity to satisfy an Italian market beginning to demand high quality outdoor power tools. He responded by producing Efco lawnmowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws. Due to the high quality of the machinery made, the manufacturing of these products soon developed an enviable reputation amongst forestry and agricultural workers, users that demanded the best performance possible from their equipment. Sales of Efco lawnmowers began to soar during the intervening years and the Efco brand is now internationally recognised as a leader in the field of garden machinery manufacturing.

They take their role very seriously though, and were the first company in this sector to achieve official certification in three crucial areas of business sustainability: the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality in 1996, the SA 8000:2008 certificate for ethical processes of production in 2006 and the ISO 14001:2004, recognising Efco's efforts to reduce their impact on the environment with an ongoing commitment to become Carbon Neutral starting in 2010.
