While it is possible to achieve a tidy finish on lawn edges and borders while using a trimmer, those who truly take pride in a pristinely neat garden know that the real key to a well managed lawn border is to use a dedicated edger. This is where Shindaiwa’s M243S multi-tool system has the advantage over a conventional grass trimmer, as with the SBA-LE24 lawn edger attachment your multi-tool can be quickly converted for precise and efficient trimming of lawn edges and borders with the bare minimum of hassle.

Unlike a grass trimmer, which depends heavily upon on steadiness of hand for a tidy finish, Shindaiwa’s lawn edger attachment features a sturdy, smooth running guide wheel which works to ensure a perfectly even finish. With the help of this supportive wheel and a tough steel edging blade, achieving pristine edges on your lawn will become a pleasingly quick and simple process. Moreover, the guide wheel can be quickly adjusted to change the cutting height, meaning that it is easy to tailor the edger to suit your particular requirements, and a tough die cast debris shield deflects clippings and other detritus thrown up during use for added safety and a tidier finish.

About Shindaiwa
In 1955 the ‘Shindaiwa Hurricane' hit the marketplace, an electric chainsaw that proved to be an instant success with the construction industry. Since this time numerous design awards have been bestowed upon the legendary Japanese manufacturer, including the ‘Good Design Award' in 1985. In fact, Shindaiwa claim to have invented the hand-held leaf blower market in that same year and have continued to produce some of the most respected professional outdoor power equipment in the world. Painstaking research is at the centre of all Shindaiwa products that are developed and tested by skilled engineers before being manufactured using the highest quality components available.

It is this attention to detail that gives the company the confidence to offer a 2-year commercial use guarantee on all of its products, happy in the knowledge that it will be a rare occasion when a Shindaiwa tool lets you down. In 2002 their first 4-cycle product, the T2500 petrol brush cutter, was developed and paved the way for the cleaner running and more environmentally friendly range of power tools of the future. There is no doubting that as customers' needs have changed, the Shindaiwa product line has moved with them.
