All of Westwood’s premium grade garden tractors are noteworthy for their power and efficiency and the V25-50HE, Westwood’s flagship lawn tractor, is no exception to this rule. Handmade in Oxfordshire using only the finest components and materials, the V25-50HE is tough, versatile, user friendly and hard-working, making it perfect for maintaining even the largest fine lawns.
At the heart of the V25-50HE is a powerful 675cc Kawasaki FR730V four-stroke OHV petrol engine, built to ensure smooth power output, quieter operation and outstanding durability. The V25-50HE also features user friendly hydrostatic transmission, providing infinitely variable speed control; not only is this two-pedal system simple to operate, it also ensures that the V25-50HE can deliver the precision required for efficient mowing around borders and obstacles. For even greater control, this impressively engineered machine is also built with a differential lock which can be engaged to improve traction on slopes and slippery ground.
Cutting is achieved via a powerful 127cm (50″) combi-deck, providing two cutting options. When used with the supplied mulching plug, the V25-50HE lifts and cuts grass repeatedly before returning the fine clippings to the soil, whereupon vital nutrients and moisture are recycled as the clippings break down. However, when used with the high-capacity 390 litre powered grass collector (available separately) the V25-50HE also delivers unbeatable collection performance, utilising a spindle of brushes to sweep clippings into the grass bag quickly and efficiently. As this system does not depend on maintaining constant air-flow in the same manner as traditional grass collection systems, Westwood’s powered grass collectors are clog resistant and can be relied upon to perform even in wet grass (an important consideration in the frequently damp climes of our little island nation). Furthermore, thanks to an electric lift and emptying feature, emptying the grass collector is a quick and simple operation, even when it is full of heavy, wet grass clippings.
A range of other features, such as nine-position height of cut adjustment and a dashboard mounted performance indicator display, ensure that the V25-50HE has the convenience and versatility to match its performance and power. And finally, as Westwood want to make sure that you enjoy using their mowers as much as you enjoy the fine results they produce on your lawn, the V25-50HE also features an ergonomically designed seat with comfortable armrests and an integrated cup holder for on-the-mow refreshment, instantly taking all of the stress out of maintaining a great looking garden.
