Product Description

This double-pack from Wolf-Garten features both a pair of RREN Bypass Secateurs and a pair of RSEN Anvil Secateurs, ensuring you are prepared for all kinds of pruning jobs! It’s especially important that you use the right kind of secateurs when you are dealing with young plants and shrubs (up to 2 years old). In this situation, Bypass Secateurs are recommended as they give a precise clean cut, their two blades ‘bypassing’ each other like scissors. Multiple wounds to a stem can prevent healthy growth of the plant so achieving this kind of accurate cut is vital. Anvil Secateurs meanwhile are better suited to older and thicker stems and dead wood, reducing the strain on your wrist and hand. Featuring a blade which closes against a softer metal on the lower jaw, their cut is powerful but not so clean, as cleanliness is less important with older wood.

Both pairs of secateurs are equipped with coated blades for non-stick pruning and easy cleaning, the Bypass Secateurs featuring a 21mm cutting diameter and the Anvil Secateurs featuring a 19mm cutting diameter. They are also both suitable for left and right handed use, and ergonomically designed to comfortably fit your hand, their plastic coating giving you excellent grip. Easy-to-use rotary catches meanwhile make for safe storage.  These two tools have been constructed to the top standards of engineering, built to be incredibly durable and long-lasting. This pack is also supplied with a 10 year guarantee for complete customer satisfaction!

About Wolf Garten
A factory producing hardware goods located in Betzdorf an der Sieg, Germany, founded by August Wolf and his two sons, Gregor and Otto in 1922, is where it all began for the company we know as Wolf Garten. It was Gregor's idea to invent the draw hoe, an agricultural implement, after watching workers in the fields on his way home struggling with their standard field hoes. This was to be a decisive change of direction for the company and small agricultural tools such as the draw hoe would become a major factor in its development. A catalogue of the company's products was to follow, soon turning into a lifestyle type brochure by the mid-twenties, with a change of name to WOLF-Geräte GmbH, highlighting the influence that gardening hand tools was having over the companies future and present business.

Since this time Wolf Garten has set the benchmark for quality, earning an enviable reputation for the superior performance of their garden tools and picking up numerous design awards along the way, as well as multiple independent consumer commendations. It is not only the quality of the tools that Wolf Garten produce but also the diverse range of the products, all meticulously designed to meet the high expectations of the end user. You can be sure that whatever piece of ‘Wolf' equipment you purchase, whether it is a hedging shear or anvil lopper with extendable handles, it will perform beyond your expectations.
