About Wolf Garten

A factory producing hardware goods located in Betzdorf an der Sieg, Germany, founded by August Wolf and his two sons, Gregor and Otto in 1922, is where it all began for the company we know as Wolf Garten. It was Gregor's idea to invent the draw hoe, an agricultural implement, after watching workers in the fields on his way home struggling with their standard field hoes. This was to be a decisive change of direction for the company and small agricultural tools such as the draw hoe would become a major factor in its development. A catalogue of the company's products was to follow, soon turning into a lifestyle type brochure by the mid-twenties, with a change of name to WOLF-Geräte GmbH, highlighting the influence that gardening hand tools was having over the companies future and present business.

Since this time Wolf Garten has set the benchmark for quality, earning an enviable reputation for the superior performance of their garden tools and picking up numerous design awards along the way, as well as multiple independent consumer commendations.
